Metal Work:
Aside from wood, Stefan is an accomplished metal worker/welder including steel and aluminum. He has completed multiple cruising boats, including his own 40' steel boat, "Wabi." He also accepts and has completed numerous metal boat repairs.
"Wabi" - 40' Steel Sailing Boat
"Wabi" is a forty foot, hard chine sailboat of a french design. She was built for strength and durability for navigation on the ocean. Built in late 70's she has had an active life crossing the Atlantic, cruising the West Indies and Bahamas, sailing on the Great Lakes, and finally claiming home port in the area of Deltaville, Va on the Chesapeake Bay.
During her life time, she has been maintained well and therefore has undergone practically no repairs to the hull. Her cabins, doghouse, and cockpit, however, have been altered, all of which was completed by Stefan.
